Seatbelt alarm on IS200T

Recommended Posts

I know 99% of people are going to respond by saying "you should wear your seatbelt" and I do. However i have a little drive way and don't use it to go along the lane up to it if i am switching cars so i wondered if there is a way of turning the alarm off? I managed to do it on the old shape by holding down the ODO and doing the next steps but it does not work on this ones It's no major problem and please no sarcastic replies- i am only asking!! Thanks :wink3:

Is it speed dependant? When I swap the cars over in the drive or drive from the gatehouse at work to the car park I don't bother with the seatbelt but there is no alarm. However speed is less than 10 mph.

That's in a 300h but I don't think it will be different on the 200T.

Yep, my smallest daughter forgets to put her seatbelt on sometimes and it pings away after Ive left the drive and reached some speed. Speed in my drive is maybe 3-5mph at most.
