Front end wrap

Recommended Posts

I'm getting the stone chips and scratches sorted on my F by a decent printshop. Running around in their CT200h whilst they do the car, horrible thing, a Prius in disguise.

Anyway, apart from missing the F, I am now seriously considering getting the front end and possibly the sides covered in a clear wrap after the paint has cured, to cut down on the stone chips in the future.

Anyone got any thoughts on this? Any recommendations for someone to do it in Surrey or Berkshire?

Cheers

Id recommend it. Have it on my lotus and while it isn't cheap to do it means the car looks spot on until it needs to be replaced maybe 3 years later. You need to be using either suntec or expel as they are the best films available at the moment. Both self healing, both very thin both uv resistant. I use a chap in Romford so can't personally recommend anyone bear you.

If you get a quote, post it up on here if you don't mind. Mine looks like someone has taken a blunderbuss to it. To be fair, most of the chips are on the plastic bumper, but there are a few on the bonnet and wings. I just know I'm going to have to get the front end re-done at some point, but (identically to Stuno1) my Lotus had the front end done when brand new, before I collected it, and it made the world of difference.

I'm probably not going to get the plastic bumper done, but the metal, definitely.

A few chips on the plastic show a bit of character :)
