I fitted my HKS Hiper today. had it all done in 30 mins

reveresed the car onto some ramps

theres two bolts that hold the back section to the centre section, these were very hard to get off so I had to use an extending bar to get more pressure on the the nuts but other than that it was plain sailing and it sounds awesome now :) just a shame my cars an auto I think it would sound better if i could hold the revs like on a manual :)

I receive my HKS Exhaust.

Is there something special to do when i swap it with the stock muffler?

Some pieces to change or something other?

Thanks.

Tof

I have it for almost 1 year and I'm happy with that stuff.

I noticed that it's a bit too long, because it was made for the IS300 and the IS300 has a longer rear bumper than the IS200.

So it will fit 100%, but if you want to make the tip ending with the rear bumper you would have to cut off a short piece at the flange and weld the flange back on the pipe.... then it looks better. :D

My method was:

The first time I had an accident.... another car crushed into mine from behind (slow) and suddenly the exhaust was covered exactly with the rear bumper.... looked great.

But the workshop rebuilt it, so it was too long again.

The second time I drove around a bit hard until the exhaust was da*n hot, sat behind the car and punched it in with my foot.

It worked not that bad, but not the greatest solution.

But only mounting it under the car...... no problem. ;)
