Aftermarket Wheel Problems

I purchased a new set of Fox Racing EVO 6 alloys (17" x 7.5) at the weekend. After getting them fitted I took the car for a spin and noticed that I was getting feedback from the pedals. I went back with the car and they balanced the wheels again. I then went back out and it was better, but still some feedback. I contacted Lexus and they advised me to check my tyre pressure. I changed the tyre pressures to 35psi all round.

One of the front tyres had less tread than the other, so I bought a new tyre and thought this would solve the problem. I have since bought another 3 tyres and still the same.

I have had them balanced 4 times and the pressures checked.

When I take the car for a blast when I get passed 60 I start to get vibration from all the pedals, if I go above 80/90 I get shaking from the steering wheel.

The place I bought the wheels from have aske me to drop the car off on Tuesday so there engineer can have a look at it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I noticed that the wheel has a different offset.

Front

7= 40 and up 215-235

7.5= 42 and up 215-235

Rear

7= 40 and up 215-225

7.5= 40 and up 215-235

If the offset is not correct could this be the problem???

do u mean that u have wheels with 2 different offsets on the car?

EDIT: just realized what u were saying - offset difference shouldnt make the car/wheels vibrate - just a thought - have you got the correct wheel nuts for those wheels??

Some tyre/wheel places are better at balancing than others. One down the road took several attempts with their supposedly recently calibrated machine ("just done a roller sir" and all that) but still got wheel wobble. Took it to another place and they did it fine.
