Mann filters on amazon - fake or genuine?

A Mann pollen filter for my car is £59.99 at Eurocarparts but only £17.05 at amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mann-Filter-CUK2226-Cabin-Air/dp/B005NFYLTS/

The amazon store looks somewhat like an official Mann store, but I can't be sure.

Is this a fake amazon store or are Euro just bloody expensive?

If it looks right, fits ok and does the job, £17.05 would be the one for me. You quite often find a lot of consumables like filters are all made in the same factory and given different manufactures labels. Even a proper Lexus one will be made by someone else and then boxed up for Lexus.

I wonder whether these are the same quality.  For my BMW there are two grades one of which is white and the other grey with quite a price difference.  However you cut it £59.99 seems exorbitant for such a simple mass produced item.  Have you checked price with Lexus Direct?

Yeah I think euro are simply overcharging. Mann also have a FreciousPlus line which is their premium version and those still come in at around £25 on amazon. I went for those in the end for my car and the wife's.

I was expecting a BluePrint filter like last time, but got a Champion one sent instead. Still happy, it fits and works fine.

When you install the filter are the tabs on the cassette supposed to line up with the firm edges of the filter or the soft edges? I always align them to the soft edges because otherwise you have to compress it a fair bit to get it in, but I always wondered which way is actually correct.
