Dash Cam and Radio Interference

My new UX is due to arrive next month and I’m looking to fit front and rear Dash Cams, I’m thinking of doing this myself as the dealer fitted option is looking a bit technologically inferior to whats currently available for the same price. Have any of you who have cams fitted experienced any interference associated with the radio reception or Sat Nav accuracy?

I installed a dual front/rear set in my RX, a Viofo A129 Duo.

Pleased to say that it went without a hitch and no interference or nav inaccuracy whatsoever.

Thanks Herbie, I have this on my shortlist and there’s an interesting fitting description from another Lexus forum which seems really informative.

Update on plans, I have purchased a Nextbase 622GW two channel dash cam, I’m going to take the plunge and fit it myself. Question for those who have done it, is there anything tricky about it or is tucking the wiring away easy, also I take it the best way is to follow the headlining from front to rear? Also what fuse did you tap into?

I'm glad you asked this as I just ordered the same camera today and I was asking the question of where to wire it into! Will follow the thread closely.

Well, fitted the Nextbase 622 GW front and rear dash cams today, took me around 2 hours to fit and set up the app The fitting is pretty much as described by another owner as per the link below except I didn’t remove the A Pillar cover. I also found that the offside rear window grommet containing the rear washer hose had much more room to get the cable through, some washing up liquid done the trick no problems. No broken panel studs and everything came apart and went together as planned.
