Alloy Refurb

I've had a quote for refurbing four of my wheels.. Shotblasted then sprayed and then relacquered... 120.00.. I know this is a reasonable price but as you know I need my car for work and the company has a three to four day turn around on wheel refurb... Anybody know what type of steel rims I should get to put my tyres on for four days.. I know what size to get but I was just wondering if anybody knows what type of car I need to be looking for in the scrapyard.. Once these are secured and my wheels are done then the said spare steel rims will be spare and anyone on loc who might need them will be more than welcome to them.. Cheers

I think Mercedes share the same pcd(114.3) and stud pattern as Lexus. Not to sure though. But maybe you can get some steel rims for the merc. I'm sure i've seen some of the old ones driving around on steel rims.

Thanks everyone but I think it's sorted... Ian (fidgits) has kindly offered to donate some rims (with tires on) :D :D I'm gonna sort out with him to go down and pick them up.. When I've finished with them they will be once again spare..Anyone who needs a refurb but also needs their car 24/7 is more than welcome to use them and then pass them on... Thanks again Ian :driving: ps (Wokset I've pm'd you)

Mercedes uses 5x112

5x114.3 is used by Lexus, 5 stud Toyotas, Mitsubishis, Type R Hondas, some Dodges (same platform as Mitsus).

I am not shure about Hyundai and Mazda
