Did you buy the additional fibre optic unit with your XTRONS head unit? You will need that to make the head unit work with a Navi vehicle

i bought this :

But it the usb lead doesnt seem to fit the optical cable that i have in the car, which is a bit annoying, and xtrons don`t seem to have good customer service 😄

I did create a rough wiring diagram for the XTRONS head unit which I'll post down below as well as the one XTRON have provided, yeah the USB cable was a no go for me so I ended up buying an aftermarket toyota retention cable from eBay

Makes sense now, the bottom part of the head unit (where cd player is) on mine is completely different. I have 6 connectors or so coming in, thanks for your help anyway!

Apologies for the late reply. I'm not on here as frequently as i'd like to be as i'm usually inundated with messages on Instagram so do try and catchup when I can. 

In regards to your question regarding the KEY1 and KEY2. Your understanding is correct that KEY1 and KEY2 require an analogue voltage. However, you are mistaken about the steering wheel switches being CANBUS controlled on the Lexus. I've worked on many Lexus models even some newer models as new as 2023 and Lexus/Toyota use analogue voltage for a huge number of functions. I have attached two diagrams below showing the wiring schematics of the steering switchpad for both the pre-HDD 2006 to late 2009 model and also the later model with the HDD and USB function. If, you look at these diagrams you will see that the steering wheel buttons are tied into 3 wires. A common ground, and SW1 and SW2. The switches are grouped into 2 groups. One group has the Voice, Off Hook, On Hook and MODE buttons tied to them and the other group is the remaining buttons (excluding the DISP button as that is directly wired to the cluster) Each button in a group goes a resistor to essentially create a different voltage readings which is then detected by the head unit. So in the case of the Teyes mod, all I did is take the single wire for the group that contains the Voice button and wire it directly to KEY1 on the Teyes unit. Then this let me customise the button mapping via the steering control app. I left the other group alone as the default Teyes pre-coded mappings for that is fine anyway.

One thing to keep in mind is that I did not modify the wire for that group on the actual car harness, instead I located the wire/pin then traced that those steering switch wires go to the CANBUS decoder box on the teyes. So, the wire that i was interested in I cut it on the Teyes harness before it goes to the canbus box and I took it directly to KEY1.

Maybe, you have scheme for US car?

I have AWD version car (2008), so buttons on steering wheel are not working with Teyes at all. I hear that US version car have other pinout.

I have a Lexus IS250 2007 with a Marklevinson Oem nav system

i have bought the Teyes CC3 model B and I have installed 

everything is working well apart from the OEM reverse cam is not showing an image when car is in reverse.

the until flicks over to reverse screen when in reverse but it’s a black screen with just guide lines. 
 

Is there some settings to adjust or wire splicing I need to do as I thought it was a plug and play with the model B option?

any advise, pictures, videos would be very much appreciated

It should be plug and play but I struggled to help a fellow member get it working. Apparently plugging in the OBD cable helps with reverse detection , in the end we just ran a new reverse camera instead

But I already had internal sensors Deelife brand from before so wasn’t willing to change. How did you manage to get them to work if the app only works with the teyes sensors?

I’m not using the Teyes TPMS app. I’ve disabled the built-in Teyes TPMS app and installed a customised Deelife app to look like Teyes UI. I much prefer the Deelife app. Someone I know got the Teyes TPMS sensors but the Teyes app isn’t as well refined as my modified one.

2011 Lexus IS250 Teyes CC3 2K - Volume Failure

I would greatly appreciate any feedback or advice on the following:

Install instructions I followed as as per:

Hi all. I installed the Teyes on 29/06/2023 and the unit functioned perfectly for 8 months until suddenly, the PWR.VOL button stopped turning the car speakers on (and the respective vol icon ceased to appear on the screen). I've attempted to illustrate in the image attached.

I also note that the fascia buttons no longer make the beeping sound when pressed. Everything else seems to be functioning as it was before (albeit without sound) Steering wheel and fascia buttons activate the functions on the Teyes and Display.

* I also note another strange occurrence in the last couple days in that the a/c display on the teyes screen randomly appears and disappears from time to time without any buttons being pressed. 

Troubleshooting to date:

1. Factory restart

2. Disconnect car Battery

3. Checked all fuses

4. Replaced existing amp with 2nd hand factory pioneer amplifier

5. Pulled out unit and checked all connections

are your deelife sensors compatible with the stock system or do you have to deal with the dash lights being on due to not having compatible TPMS sensors? Do you have a link to the ones you use?

As far as Im aware UK IS250s dont normally support the factory TPMS system, only the IS250C supported the TPMS system so assuming the car is a UK non convertible and hasnt been modified nothing will appear on the dash. 

These TPMS systems will only work on the android head unit only; so whichever one you get will work as long as the corresponding app is used, if you buy a non teyes TPMS system youll just install the relevant APK to view the TPMS system
