Depreiciation

Recommended Posts

I recently traded in my IS200 SPORT '02' and worked it out that i lost £266.66 per month  . I expect im losing more than that now on my IS300 '04' :o

Its not that drastic really when you think of other cars that depreciate more rapidly.

Items that have a huge demand but are in short supply keep a good price, just look at the house market ! :duh:

Just been told by a Lexus dealer who shall remain nameless that my 2001 IS200 will be losing £250-300 per month ! Is this as laughable as I think or am I mistaken ?

Great, that makes my monthly payments seem so much better now :blink: :duh:

sounds about right from new!!!

Exactly, but the implication was that if I traded in June it would be £250-300 a month less ! If a 2001 car is losing that much it would be worth £3000-3600 less next year, which is ridiculous.

Appologies for any financial crises caused :whistling: .
