🙂 if one values value ... definitely.

With Lexus, I would get both value and impeccable quality (I hope that is still the case* )

If I have the money for a proper luxobarge... I am putting that money towards an LS500h (there is one very recent low mileage specimen available at the budget price of £58,000 at Lexus Approved Used)

And about that *, noticed recently that Lexus ES Premium Pack is now pretty much the same money as an Audi A6 optioned out to very similar spec. When last I was shopping that spec was £52k for A6 but £39k for ES. The Audi dealer worked some finance magic and the final order value was around £43k but I didn't take it because I didn't want another rattle box.

I changed my 1 year old ES300h Takumi for the 2018 LS500h low milage.

Are they any Lexus factory's or do they all say Toyota on the side like Tahara plant.

I guess Lexus only really exists in the "marketing dept of the Toyota Motor Corporation"

I read somewhere that in Japan you have to work at Toyota for 10 years before you can join the Lexus programme.

There was a thread on the US Lexus forum about how the ES's for the US market were made in there instead of Japan which didn't go down well.

Amazing choice. Are you pleased with the LS? Some say that the ES was 70% LS driving capabilities. I must admit the interior of the LS is truly a work of Art. I have seen a recent video from a Youtuber who dislike the 2018 LS mainly because engine noise is transmitted via speakers and is fake. If true, I wonder why they did this. There is no need as I would have thought the silence is what most of us would want with the LS...
