Thanks for the update. Ordered car of the year last year and got the car of the year this year. Very happy and a very good car.

After only 5 weeks of ownership I would agree with the comments and views on the car, not so sure about the customer service  ???

This is my second Lexus so I will let some of the lack of service go ( considering the times) and see if they can keep up the old service with the after sales. Don’t want to go back to Jaguar where the service was rubbish.

Funny thing, as the NX collects awards in England and North America for two consecutive years, it is despised by French automotive press and automotive industry "influencers" and rarely included in any comparative panel. 
As for the service,  if the car is indeed Japanese made, service will always be with a Gallic flare but with premium icing (ex : you'll always have to help yourself to get a coffee but it will be a free espresso in a real cup instead of an insta coffee in a plastic cup you payed more than 40p.
Will see for the 1st year maintenance or the 5K kilometers tire swap igf they are more focused on details than Volkswagen who managed to return my car (which had light cream colored interior) full of greasy fingerprints and with items missing in the trunk...

I come across this the other day, yes. It looks very positive for the NX and a great achievement indeed. It’s getting your hands on one which is the problem. 

I only hope Lexus can justify to me my extended wait over most other orders - of what’s likely (so far) to be in the region of a 15 and a half - 16 months, as this is what I have to base my own experience/opinion on.

Sorry Gary, are you referring to the first post? All I can say is it really is worth the wait.
