RX450H Sport Plus drive train function

Recommended Posts

Hi,

What does this do exactly? The owners manual is a bit vague on the technical aspects i think.

I can feel a definitive difference from 'normal' mode but not much from 'sport'.

Have it in 'custom' mode for towing, drivetrain and engine in 'sport'

Cheers

Sport mode will sharpen the throttle response and the steering wheel .

Sport S+ if you have it will stiffen the suspension as well as the above.

Thanks Guys,

So when i use custom mode and put both drive train and chassis in 'sport'....

Is that effectively the same as 'sport plus' mode?

Just looking for the best setting for that 1% of driving time when you want to flow down some nice road and also when towing whem max stiffness is the order of the day

Yes, that's correct.

Thanks Colin,

That makes sense, I towed our 1500kg van back from the Cotswolds today, approx 100 miles, nice and steady in Sport Plus Mode.

Couldnt feel any difference from Custom really.

The old girl returned 23.1mpg overall which is excellent for such a heavy large engined petrol car

👍
