Turning off car alarm on ferry

I've been advised by Stena Line that I must turn off the car alarm on my RX450 while crossing - in order to avoid it going off due to heavy seas. Anybody advise me how to do that please?

As DavidCM suggests it is in the manual. The button is up besides the internal mirror, and you press after switching off the vehicle

That only turns off the internal ultrasonic sensor. The only way (as far as I'm aware but happy to be corrected) is to use the key and lock the car manually.

Interior and tilt sensors are switched off by the button in the OCP
