Soarer in slough

Saw a soarer in slough today. (Hmm is that a tonque twister?) White with two really fat exhausts - looked nice. Anyone here? Was going to get out and slip him a card but I'd run out.

It was right in front of me - queing for traffice lights across the junction I was trying to turn out of . I was going to blow my horn and get him to squeeze back but I was completely distracted when I saw it was a lexus soarer so I just squeezed round him on the wrong side of the road oggling his exhausts as I went. Fortunately nothing hit me from the second lane or turning right into the junction.

Hey Chris, jumping out of your Lex in Slough can be seriously damaging to your health and wealth, it's notorious for car thieves at the lights so if I were you I'd stay in the car.:smug:

It's also a dodgy junction to be walking about - dunno if you know it but I was turning left out of ipswich road (by bath road tyres) into dover road to head down towards the merc dealers and onto the A4 towards junc 7 of the M4.

So you turn left into the second lane so you can turn right at the lights. The lanes move independantly and every time the first lane is stationary cars stop across the exit so you can't get to the moving second lane. When the first lane is moving you can't get into the second lane as its full of stationary cars waiting for the lights. I often avoid it and go a different way...
