These will look nice on the IS mate, you can't go far wrong with any 5 spokes on the IS in my opinion, suit her well, and these remind me of the Blitz Mania alloys and they look mega on the IS so you're sorted :)

If you look at pics of Pete Jenkin's, Gus' or Maz's car that will give you a good idea what to expect, I think they'll look awesome personally :D

Wheels fitted yesterday but too dark to get decent pics. Took some today but too big to post!!! Will post them tomorrow. Look nice but i seem to get a rub on the back wheels now when going over speed bumps with weight in the back - the wheels are 17", any ideas???

Cheers

I thought maybe it was the offset, will check what offset they are.  Was told they were the right ones for the car but a bit worried now.  Will this be a problem???

Chris :crybaby:

I've had a couple of wheel firms tell me a certain wheel will fit my IS 200.

Then after getting all measurements, found out the wheels didn't fit. Wrong offset.

If it is wrong offset, see if they will swap them for the correct ones or give your money back. As they told you they are the right ones.

I get a sense of Deja Vu here, hey Gord?? :o

@ Mackdaddy - I had the same trouble with 8x18s and an et38, but because yours are 17" your situation is not as bad. You need an offset of 40 - 45.

I have checked the boxes and i think they are a 35 offset!! I have e-mailed the wheel manufacturers and they said they make them in a 35 and a 40 offset but dont believe this would cause this problem. Will confirm and try and get the proper offset wheels. Attached is a pic though - excuse the poor quality good pics too large to post!! :D

OH :tsktsk: !! :crybaby::tomato:

They are totally wrong - was was struggling with 38's!!

To resize your pictures just put them into Photoshop or some image editing program and change. The easiest way to do it (the way I do it) is to use the Windows XP PowerToy called Picture Resizer. Just go to google and you should find it straight away.

Good Luck! Hope you can return your alloys!

Cheers for that idea Anees it worked a treat. I have posted a smaller pic below so you can see the wheels on my car.

For an update, i have been back to the garage who have apologised and ordered me a set of 40 offset wheels which should be fitted tomorrow or Monday.

Hopefully that will be end of story!!!

No Probem mate :D

Wheels look wicked - but even from the side view you have put up its easy to see that they stick out too much from the cars body. You should be fine with 40's with your 17" wheels.

Glad your getting it sorted.

Thanks for all the help guys, this really is a top class club!! :D

I have been back and had the 40 offset wheels fitted, there doesn't seem to be any problems now and I am really chuffed with them. So chuffed I washed and polished my Lex yesterday, fitted my caliper stickers and even removed my dirty exhaust trim for a polish!!!!!

Looking nice now

Cheers again guys
