As for thatcham cat no idea. Since the information there is for immboliser / anti theft system could be for both. Also I doubt lexus would fit an non Cat 1 system (thats both imboliser and alarm, Cat 2 is imobiliser only) as a lot of manufactuers fit Cat 1 systems as standard now.
