2002 Radio System

Hi all, after many months away, i have returned and am trying to catch up reading recent posts. I have a question on the radio system.

Can anyone explain the use of the AST (Autostore) button on the 2002 model radio system. The explanation on P 167 of the manual leaves me more confused. I cannot see the difference between this button and the normal preset method?

Normally. autostore scans for the 6 (or however many you've got) strongest stations and stores them in preset automatically and all at once.

I believe this only works with the optional MD player Chris.

Yep as Matt said the TXT button is for use with the MD system.
