Hi

I have decided to almost certainly buy an rx 300 se with the nav option.

I think i will sell my existing car privately and wondered what sort of discounts you guys had managed to achieve.

The "sticker" price is £36537 (black , nav SE) .

I hear of discounts of up to 2500 , I would be happy at a price of £34500 . Is that achieavable. I would prefer to deal with my local dealer.

Great car, good performance. I am really excited about joining the RX crowd.

I think you could get that discount. Try searching the web for brokers, get a price and then see if your dealer will match it, else go with the broker - it may well be supplied by your dealer anyway.

I saw these prices recently too. However the savings they show suggest that they have not updated there prices since October 2004 when the last price increase occured. They may therefore riggle later or you may find when it comes down to the actual order that they put the price up.

You never know, if they haven't updated the prices and they confirm an order in writing with no small print then you'll be on to a winner.

I dealt at the weekend. I collect the car on friday.

I got a fair discount mof approx 4 %

Dealership were happy and so was I.

The dealership service has been first class so far.

Hey, grats on the buy! I've had a RX300 (mk2) since the very first batch available over here, and there's been absolutely no regrets (well, except perhaps that I didn't opt for the multi-panel moonroof option, but that's a GBP6500 option here! ).

What options you go for ???

I wnet for Mattalic Paint (Brechine Slate) and parking sensors...

And since trhen have added;

- Boot liner

- Vertical cargo net

- Horizontal cargo net

- Mud flaps.

Also got some lovelly new Polish, Swissol, that I've yet to try. I've about 25m more fence to paint before I can allocate the time to polishing the car..

I got the car at Lexus Hatfield.

The only extra i went for was the Sat NAv. I think all the included "toys" will keep me happy for a long while.

She is Black with the oakham interior.

Cant wait to collect her!
