now is it just me or am I part of a larger club of members who wax their cars regular, and the following morning its covered in overnight rain or dew. therefore on the way to work i drive faster than normal in order to remove every last water bead that has formed on the bonnet.

Now i use Meguiars or Autoglym depending on what i get out first and I find that I need to drive at 50mph-60mph to get the droplets moving but i need 70mph to really shift them, and theres always a few that require the 75mph treatment.

I was just wondering because the other morning I found myself travelling at great speed just to remove the last water bead that was hanging on to the top of my bonnet

It may become a statutory defense for speeding if enough of us use it in future :winky:

right halftime over back to the footy :whistling:

Fella, I was a dedicated Merguiers addict until I read the Autopia guide to detailing. Without hyping all the recommended products myself, just have a read though it. It's readily available on this site.

I guarantee that you will not be unimpressed with the results! :D

Just this morning I did that - reaching a speed that would probably result in a driving ban.

It was 6:30am on a good B-road and lasted less than a mile - after that I continued as normal at 50-60.

With the Meguiars nxt wax, most of the water can be taken off by hosing the car.
