Coolant

Hi,

I got the coolant changed on my lexus is200 2 months ago. I was told it has been overfilled, but while driving the car it will level itself out via the overflow hose. It has been 3 months and the level is still full when warm and when the car is cold in the morning. is this an issue. Cheers.

Hi can anyone respond to my question.  I will be really appreciated.

Is the temp guage in the normal range e.g. where it sat before the coolant change ? If the answer is yes then I would say don't worry.

The space in the header tank is for expansion of the coolant if the engine gets too hot, if you are really worried get a bit of clear pipe and syphon some out. Make sure it's cold when you do.

:) Hey,

Thanks for the response. The temp is always at the half mark, I now feel content in knowing that its not a problem. I might as well leave the coolant as it is, as more coolant is better than less. Thanks again.
