Great pic Vince ... where was the hotel, in Rio?

I spent 4 months working in Brasil (in Rio and up on the Amazon) and it was just fantastic. I used to go to work and pinch myself that I was being PAID to work there - it was my vision of paradise!

Sigh .... the memories :(

Never got to Florianopolis (or Floripa as I think they call it there) but heard a lot about it from my Brasilian colleagues!

i picked up the basics (greetings, numbers etc) fairly quickly .... especially working in Belem where there was only 1 guy on site who spoke some english! My pointing in Portugese was pretty good I have to say .. :bounce::bounce:

I think if you can speak Spanish, or "Spangelese" then you are fine!
