Dim Aircon Indiactor

Hi There

On My 2000 is200 the indicator LED's for the Aircon and heated rear window work fine during the day and are visible but when I power on the headlights they get really dim and it's hard to know if they are on or not.

I would suspect it might be bad wiring (On a lexus ???) or a loose earth to the unit containing theese indictaors.

Has anyone seen this before ?

Is it just that light ? have you tried turning up the main switch ..... to the left of steering coloumn that adjusts the dash lights ........

It nothing to do with the dash lights , its just the 2 little orange indicators that tell you when A/C and heated rear window are on.

they get really dim when I switch on headlights.??? (Cra electrics are fine and everything is charging ok !!)

are you sure the Battery is ok?

I thinks I know what you are on about, the LEDs do go dim when you turn on ya lights, when it is dark they do not distract you. B)
