Just picked up my IS200 SE this week and it desperatley needs dropping. But which springs do I go for, TTE, TRD or Eibach. They are all the same price at £150-£180 and all lower by about 30mm, but which should I go for.

Bought the Lexus in the first place for comfort after having a Toyota Starlet Glanza Turbo which was rock hard and I dont want to spoil the Lexus' soft drive by lowering it. So I am really after a good set of decent springs that look and perform well and not make it bloody hard to drive in.

Also, once recommened, please include the shop so I know where I can get them the cheapest from.

Cheers guys

Lowering it will harden the ride, no question.

The TTE springs are the same as the Eibach springs. I am running the Eibach springs and they are comfortable on the motorway and decent roads but on local roads with bad surfaces the ride is quite hard.

Make sure to get a Geometry check done too after about 500 miles of the lowering. Once the car is setup right you will then really benefit handling wise. :D

You can get the springs from Prolex-UK. Just have alook on the website.

Good Luck :D
