Hi,

I need a new radiator for my '99 IS200 SE.

Lexus have quoted £265+Vat plus fitting.

Can anyone advise or supply at a better price.

Have just forked out for new tyres and a 60K service and money is very tight!

Would appreciate any help or advice

Could see if i can find one cheaper but am afraid i would need a chassis number as there are about 4 different rads for an early IS. If you want to pm me i could find out and give you the part number.

For some reason I couldnt PM?? - do you have to be a gold member?

It is only leaking very slightly and the temp gauge is normal, will it be okay to keep running it for a couple of weeks?

I've just fitted a new radiator. I took the old one to Toyota and they ordered me a new one with the old one given to them. Took a day and a bit to get it, cost: £270.

They had 2 part no.s for an IS radiator mine was the more expensive one as mine is 2001 onwards.

if its only leaking slightly just seal it up

can buy radiator sealant from somewhere like andrew pages.

:D
