E-manage Gain From 127hp To 161hp

hi, i saw this magazine in hong kong, some guy install a TRUST e-manage ECU in their is200, and on dyno it show power increase from 127hp to 161hp

anyone try e-manage b4?

WOW!!

after reading the article in the photos, i still find it hard to believe that by installing a piggyback computer, the auto IS200 can hav an increase hp of 34HP.

His base run dyno hp was 127 rwhp and that translates to an approx of 127/0.8 = 158.75 hp from the engine. This figure is reasonable as he is using TOM's exhaust which gives an ouput of 5 hp.

With E-manage in, the 161 rwhp, which translates to 161/0.8 = 201.25 hp from crank , is just too unbelieveable.

but don't believe everything the magazine say........

this magazine sometime do overstate its result

Unless you are using rocket fuel you won't see more than about 6-8 hp from e-tuning :)

You fail to read that 127hp was messured from rear wheels,

and the 161hp was messured from crank.

That's the trick they do.

Can't fool me :P

From the above, it had shown that with the E-manage we will get a 7hp gain from the stock IS200. A reasonable figure.
