Fuel Gauge

Recommended Posts

This happened the other day

i had just under 1/4 tank of fuel pulled in to a garage (big food chain sounds like hesco) filled the tank with 58L to make sure i got my 5p off a Litre

i paid the garage went back to the car turned the ignition on and the fuel gauge still showed 1/4 tank of fuel, i thought :crybaby: i have just paid £49.00 for fresh air, so i got out the car went back in to the garage and said i think there is a problem with the pump, after 10mins a manager from the store come over

and said have i got a problem with tha gauge in the car, i said no

so the nice manager said ok if you have filled it try and put some petrol in

and yes it took .59p he then laughed and said i think you will need to check your gauge, as i was driving back to work i got about 1/2 a mile from garage and the needle shot to full :duh:

How strange

what a div i felt

Any one else had this happen
