New Is Auto Petrol Mpg?

I am thinking of moving from a Mercedes E320 CDI, which I have been averaging 25mpg (lot of city driving!) to the new IS250 SE-L Auto petrol ( been offered a good deal!) . What urban Mpg are you new IS drivers getting?

Gloucestershire to Leeds and return last week. Journey out was Thursday so M5/M42/M1 reasonably clear which returned an average speed for the journey of 72 mph (sorry officer), but returned Friday with the usual chaos :tsktsk: and even with the satnav re-routing to avoid the real blockages the average speed came down to 34 mph.

Guess what? Both journeys gave me an average of 28 mpg.

That seems quite poor for a diesel, our CLS350 gets around the 20mpg mark around town :o
