hey guys... i did some basic upgrades on my IS .. cold air intake and exhaust .. what other upgrades can i do to get a little more HP out of the car... bisides super charging... dont got the cash for that.. :( .. plus iam from Trinidad so cant get an SC kit for a good price..

Manifold perhaps.

I know Fargo had NOS on his car, not sure if it was the 200 or 300. Think your still looking at around £600 for a decent kit and then £300-500 for a progressive controller.

normally full throttle, any gear ......not sure about reverse though

another downside is cost of filling bottles and limited short use

You just get different jets depending how much extra you want. Believe they start at 25bhp and now go upto 175bhp but as you say just for short bursts. You can certainly tell when it kicks in, your thrust back into your seat.

agreed, the s/c would be the better option, but needs a lot more saving of the dollars!!

but, saying that, is there a reliability issue with the s/c over the NOS install. in fargo's write up he mentions that NOS is the most reliable out the lot?!

Not always the case tho, coz after its done you just wanna take it the limit all the time. first 2 tanks after I had it done, it went down to 17mpg, now i'm used to it and don't need to rag it so much I can get about 26-28mpg.
