Look All Doors

Recommended Posts

Any one now, what we need to do, to the new Lexus IS, look all doors, after reach a 20kmh?

I have investigated this on my car as I found it a useful feature on my previous vehicle. Although it is listed on the American Personalised Settings List it will not work on UK cars. For some very strange and inexplicable reason they have omitted it on ours.

I see that you are from Portugal Akkilles so maybe it will work on yours. I expect however, that all of Europe suffers the same fate.

We don’t get tyre pressure warnings either where it seems that the US does.

They also get 4 years warranty where we only get 3

No Parthiban.

Basically, My Lexus Specialist ( ) has advised me that if anyone on LOC can find a way then to let the dealer know...

I struggle to believe that the electronics governing the cars are really that different...between "us" and the "US"...

I suspect that Lexus haven't released the software codes to enable the features for UK dealers to "patch" the feature in (and possibly rest of Europe).

Disappointing, when all of the competition do offer this. In a BMW with Prof Nav you can actually configure this and a whole array of other settings yourself. So comeone Lexus, you can do it!

Very disappointing as my current merc autolocks the doors once moving and its a really nice feature as I tend to have laptop etc on the back seat. I also readu somewhere that thisoculd be setup on the lexus but it sounds like i may have been looking at US info. I'm expecting my 220d in june!

That really is quite irritating, it was bad enough on the old IS when they added memory seats to the US versions and didn't for the UK versions, but this is just silly. As a brand new car, where some of them have it, why on earth would they take it off, when all the competition have it.

As you say, other cars actually let you change all these settings yourself, this really is quite poor
