Engine Upgrades

I've had my IS200 now for nearly 2 years from new and been well pleased with it ,just wish for a little more power, been putting a little money by recently and was wondering whats avalible to improve performance for £2000- £2200 mark, any more and its no holiday this year and the missus,well no more me.

well a new supercharger will cost you about £2300-2500, then fitting on top (about £400) - so thats a little over budget. you could look into a second hand supercharger - around £1300, plus fittting. this would fall into your budget.

alternatively, a nitrous system, fully installed would run you about £1000.

you could always go for induction, cat back exhaust, upgraded manifold - again possibly around the 1k mark.

You can get supercharger kit (new) fitted for £2500 all in :D

supercharger fitting you can do yourself to save some cash will take you about 6 - 8 hours max.

Its steve's Garage (charlesworth motors) has done lots of work for LOC members, fitting 12 superchargers to date, even fitted zee's turbo for him, and i think he will be fitting, is200 with a turbo very soon :o

Steve is an absolute legend and he is always happy to help.Top Bloke in my opinion.I havent had any probs from any of the work he has done on my IS.He has a supercharged IS himself.

He was saying the other day, that yours is the fastest is200 yet that he has had a drive of :D down to being auto i think :o
