Auto Roof/mirror Closure

I'm sure that when I fitted the ProLex Roof/Window Closure kit a few months ago, that it closed the roof no matter how I left it i.e. Open On Tilt or Fully Open..........Anyone else please just confirm this for me??

If so, then there seems to be a problem when the roof is on Tilt, it's not closing when arming/locking the car, but is still closing the roof if fully open.......Weird, any ideas guys??

Yeah I'm pretty sure mine closes whichever way its open, but I'll check next time I'm in the car :winky:

Yes it does close from any position, but I have noticed that the switch needs two pushes to open the roof fully. i.e. first push opens the roof about threequarters then the second push is needed to open the roof fully. I don't think this happened before the closure was fitted. Anyone else noticed this?

Im pretty certain it did this anyway. I think if its at the first stage and 3/4 open it reduces the wind noise.

That's nothing to worry about, that's the way they open. First push opens the roof three quarters of the way, second push opens it fully - nothing to do with the closure system :)

Thanks for that info, as I said I had'nt noticed how it opened before autoclosure which I still think is an excellent accessory.

had a look at prolex sit for an auto sun roof/mirror closure kit and couldnt find it anyone know where to get one a the cost of it

As far as i know these kits are not being produced at present and thats why they are not on the Prolex site....

The guy who makes them has not been well and your health comes first.... ;)
