Hi there Lex Members !

I was wondering has anybody heard about a product called

"Dimond Brite"?

I have bought a Black is200Sport and the dealer says when you wash your car it stays like showroom finish everytime.

The dealers charge around £200.00, But i spoke to the area manager of dimond brite & he recomended a place in manchester which does it for about £150.00.

They do the outside which is meant to last for six years & they treat the interior with a scotch guard type of application.

If anyone has heard about the product or had it done i'd be interested in hearing your views!

Thanks mate.

You may be able to shed some light but on the 2/01/03 I joined up to be a Gold Member through paypal. I got a confirmation which took me through a screen to choose my user name & password.

After doing this I thought it would be intant but I still can't log in as it says theres no member of this name.

I've tried to email the club but have not heard anything!

Is there anything else which needs to be done??

Hi Amit,

I too have a black IS200 and I had the Diamondbrite treatment. I was very pleased with the emd result. :)

As much as I tried all the other polishes and waxes such as Mer and Autoglym you could still see the swirl marks in it. Black seems to be particularly bad for that :(

However since the treatment, about 5 months ago, the car looks great after just a quick washdown and I haven't been using the conserver shampoo that you are supposed to either. :D

Gold membership discount should make it even better ;)

Hi Amit, welcome to the club. I had mine Diamond Brighted from new as one of the freebees from the dealer, nearly run out of polish now. I would reccomend it, just a quick splash and rinse and its back to gleeming :yahoo:

Thanks everyone for your advice and views on dimond bright.

This is the kinda reviews I was looking for to make sure spending £150.00 on polish would be justifiable.

I'm just waiting for my Gold Membership to be sorted & I'll see if I'am able to get it at even a better price.

Amit........... :D
