Is There A For Sale Section On Here

The title pretty much gives this away......I've just sold my Escort and now looking for the ideal IS200. Speaking with dealer because I'll PROBABLY go with them (used, obviously) but just wondered if there was a for sale section here that I could browse through.

Obviously I'm checking the likes of Autotrader and such anyway

I've owned a '93L Escort Cos (3330bhp) for the past 3yrs, and so I'm not after modified any more as the IS200 will now be an everyday car (Escort was just a dry weekend car)

Bit more specific at what I'm after - Granite Sky IS200se (or sport), low(ISH) mileage - say 20-30k. Sat Nav would be great if right car turns up, but not necessity, so if anyone knows of any similar cars coming up, please do let me know - tony_hetherington@hotmail.com

Mine is going to be advertised fairly shortly but it's plat ice and not granite sky as you require. Now has 28K with sat nav as well - 4 recent new tyres.

We did PM a couple of months ago when I started learning about the IS200 (I really like to learn alot about them before I start buying) and you mentioned your car was due to be up for sale soon.

As you say, it's plat ice, but aside from that it's pretty much exactly what i'm after. the dealer should get back to me today, so i'll see what he's got for me.

Good thing is I've got a poo car (1.1L 205) which I drive around during the week anyway (will go soon) so I'm not urgent for a car as such - however - I can't wait to get my IS200 !!

Yeah sorry tony, do remember now you mention it. Hope your dealer gets you exactly what you want. You will obvioulsy get the 12 months warranty buying from a dealer and no doubt be gleaming throughout. If not then give me a shout again about mine if you are interested - it is well within your price range and has manufacturers warranty until aug '03.

Hmmm 3330Bhp - That should just about equal Matt's modifications shouldn't it?

Tony, as your keen to buy from a dealer, have you looked at the Lexus website? You can search for approved used cars from all dealers and can narrow down the search for price, colour, even the sat nav option.

I had a quick look and you might strugle to find one with sat nav and such low millage for 14K.

Yeah, urmmm - in case you hadn't spotted that, it was meant to be 330bhp ! Had it runnin 22psi for 330, we had it at 26psi (peakin 28) and that reached 360bhp, but it was a bit fast for the roads so only had that when I went round tracks. It used to worry me that I could spin all 4 wheels in 3rd in only slightly wet !!

Mind you........3330bhp - wouldn't that be nice !?

Ricky......thanks for the comments. Yeah, I've searched the dealer websites - there's not much out there that I want from a dealer at the moment, though there are some very nice examples privately (Jenner's above is perfect..but I really want the granite sky). Will keep searching tho - as Isaid, not PARTICULARLY in a rush, do want to get the right car, but equally dont want to be driving a 205 with all that money in the bank !!!
