Hi and Happy New Year.

The only new IS petrol model available in the UK is the 2.5 v6 (hence IS250).

The old IS was only available with 2 litre (IS200) or 3 litre (IS300) i6 petrol engines.

All UK IS300s are automatic and they are pretty thin on the ground - even the 200 is still relatively rare given how long it's been around.

Not sure what you mean by the height of the car - all 300s have the sport suspension but so do 200s depending on age and model.

Check out the model specs which are pinned near the top of the IS forum section.

Edit: just noticed you are in Singapore - not sure what the differences will be there!!!

yea.im from singapore.and there are little (is) around.thought of importing from japan.can it be converted to manual?

The second generation (new shape) IS is available in 220D (diesal manual), 250 petrol AWD (4 wheel drive, Japan & US), 250 petrol RWD sport manual or auto, 300 petrol RWD (Chinese market), 350 petrol RWD (Japan and US only) and soon to be unveiled 500 petrol RWD (IS-F). Presumably the second generation IS300 is only available in left hand drive so you'll be restricted to what's available in Japan as R.H drive there, same as Singapore. Not sure if the 300 second generation is also manufactured for the Indian market (is it right hand drive there??).
