Was messing around earlier and was opening / closing the car with the key in the locks, found out that if you leave it in the open position more than a second or two all the windows and the sunroof automatically open and vice versa!

I can't do this off the aftermarket alarm though - what about the rest of you guys?

Try holding down the lock or unlock button for over 2 seconds may work, does on the uk spec GS anyway

Unfortunately the Aristo doesn't come with those keys mate, not the old one's anyway, you get a key without any buttons at all! Much cheaper to get those cut I guess!

Think looking at the brochure though the facelift Aristo's post 2000 might have come with the same keys we get in the UK with the button's on?

I've found that weird in different markets too. I was recently in the US and had a Toyota MPV as a rental while I was there and it had a normal key and then a separate keyfob that was for the remote locking - I couldn't understand why they would do that as they make the same Toyota remote key that's used on all of them over here, why not use the same keys over there?

Very confusing stuff :duh:

Not sure, would have thought that if they're anything like mine you should be able to get them cut anywhere - mine are Silica replacements I think, I don't have a key with buttons either?

Would be nice if you could use a key with buttons with the car!
