Hi, did you spray your eyelids yourself or garage sprayed? I have just sent for some my car same colour as yours, wondering where I could get colour match paint to do them myself?

Ta Steve

Yeah I couldn't find any cans etc in Halfords or whatever to do it myself to left them to a local bodyshop :)

@ Lee, Done with Halfords cans, Grey Primer, then tried Rover Charcoal and then a little laquer.

The rover colour came out a lot darker than id expected but I quite like it though :)

I most admit that makes a big difference on the front. Like it lot and been thinking about doing the dark lights for a while but was not sure if is would look good on Plat-Ice car (same colour has mine). So guess what my mod's mod is going to be.. It makes the car look mor aggressive with them eye lids.. :shifty:

Just handed mine in for the front end spay up and eye lids fitting. So can i take the headlights apart with the eye lids still on? And how easy is it take the lights off?

I need to find a step by step guide to do this headlight tints please?

Cheers

it will look wicked mate. probably better than mine cos my lenses are quite scratched. and stone chipped. havent managed to polish them yet

If you are talking about the hedlight lenses then you won't be able to polish them as they have a thin hardcoat that protects the Polycarb from going straw coloured in the sun, the hardcoat also protects the lenses from chipping. Polish this off and they will yellow within a few short months.

If you are talking about the fog lamps and they are glass then no problem, polish away.

I have recently discovered that the company I used to work for makes the IS200 headlights for Europe so I am seeing if I can buy direct from the company without using an agent. Failing that I'm going to try and get on site and have a root round there scrap bins ;)

Sound's like a plan, post here once you have managed to find some lenses, since a few off us here would like to replace them with nice shinny new ones providing the price is right.. :D
