Slammed On Its Arse On D2's

Recommended Posts

can i just say mr singh, urs actually looks lower than mine on the rear with the standard wheels on. it only looks really low on my pics cos it was sitting awkward on the kerb and the camber is still set at a standard ride height adjustment.

just out of intrest, where did u get ur spacers and how much?

custom made spacers on the rear. front ones were from local motor factors.

I now run 12mm on the rear (with 9.5x19s) and 8.5mm on front (with 8x19s) i run longer studs too.

Hi,

If your Happy with the way the car looks/drives then Thumbs up sorted vti B)

In the old days when i owned a mk2 Escort they were mostly lower on the rear only with spacer blocks.

The Escort handled very nicely.

Do your own thing Bud ;)

Your setup wouldnt work nowadays where i live with the amount of speed bumps

Chips.

So would recommend the D2 coilovers? Thinking of getting them on mine soon but not sure yet? How much have they improved ur handling? Is the increase in handling worth the extra firmness in ride comfort?
