Think the brake light was added to the spoiler on the 2001 model update.

It was the later spec 01. Think 51 plates onwards.

Yes there is a bulb in the glovebox (not attached to the bit that moves, it's just behind the lip at the top on the underside of the dash, shines down from above when you open it). Have a blue one on mine. It's a wierd size but can't remember off hand which one. Might be the same as the vanity mirrors but not looked at them.

Do you have covers over the door lights now or just removed them? I have some clear ones on mine.

some bulb info that may help anyone on LOC looking

to change the interior bulbs...

The Glovebox bulb is a 286 5mm LINKY

Interior Map Reading Light Bulb is a BA9 9mm

The Middle Interior Light Bulb is a 31mm Festoon

Ultraleds.co.uk + click on search.

The Glovebox light is in a holder that clips out from above the lock inside.

Well fiddly, but I got mine in. Illuminated when opened with the side/headlights on.

I asked above in this post but maybe you missed it, what bulbs for the vanity mirror ?
