Sunroof

OK bit of a problem.

We have some large crows or rooks that seem to have a task for rubber !!!

I have know for a while that they like to sit on top of my Animal L200 pickup and lick the water of the screen but the they started pecking at the rubber around the door.

So up to now they have damaged the two pickups & one of my staff's car and my dad's car.

but then they went to far :duh:

they have been sitting on top of the IS200 and have pecked out all the soft rubber surround on the sunroof. :(

does anyone know if you can get just the rubber surround or am I looking at the sunroof glass & rubber !

and has anyone got any suggestions on how to get rid of the birds.

**** sounds harsh mate.

dunno bout replacing the rubber but to get rid of birds jus sit in the office/garage wherever u got a nice view of the birds and all u need is a telescopic airrifle. they wont come back then mate.

hold ur breath when you aim it keeps you steady better

or you could always put a cover on the lex or stick it in a garage if possible :)

And get your ***** banged up inside for a number of years and not see your Lex for a long long time!!

Have you tried a garden centre to see if you can get any of those spray's that repel animals?

Can't help on the rubber - Chris Shipley would be your best bet

if its the rubber your worried about try ky-jelly it works a treat . my missus swears by it !

provided you are within the confines of your own property, and not in a public area, then there is no problem, it is perfectly legal. full detail can be obtained from your local plod shop.
