1st Class Service - Again

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd share todays experience,

0915 dropped my LS at Lexus hanley for timing belt at 60k,

Had just sat down in service whilst I waited to book in, with-in 10 Min's I had been booked in and shown to my courtesy car, (brand new Mazda 3, not even done 300 miles).

Collected LS at 1715, advised on small rubber bush problem, paid quoted amount for timing belt, got service book stamped, car had been washed and vacumed, 1st class. :D

If your not happy with any part of your local Lexus dealer, and are not to far from Staffordshire, give Lexus hanley a try, you won't be disappointed.

How much did it all cost, if you don't mind my asking?

My service is due in September

Cheers,

BigJon

All in cost for timing belt £256.00 inc vat, and a free car for the day, my local non Lexus garage mechanic quoted around £250, with no Lexus stamp and no courtesy car.

You may or may not be aware that Lexus offer a privilege discount scheme, £25 one off payment which entitles you to money off servicing, parts etc etc.

First thing I bought after the car itself!

how much off is it Barney?

If it's 10% then it's worth it for the cam belt change alone!

I'm due a cam belt and my folks live in stoke, sounds like Hanley is the place.

Now all the pots have closed, who can afford to have a Lexus in Stoke anyway? :winky:

Better than that Alex:

Service: 25% off labour - 10% parts

Repairs 25% off labour - 10% parts (inc. oil)

+ other discounts.

Well worth it imho, already recouped my £25 just from the first service alone.

I think I could have saved 15% of the price of parts, but speak to chris at Lexus Hanley parts, he will tell you for sure.
