Has anybody any thoughts on the alloy cleaner "Wonderwheels", I have used it on my previous car and it was excellent, although I am unsure wether to use it on my new IS200, having heard all the horror stories regarding pitting ect.

Any advice would be well received.

Cheers

Chris

I have heard that many wheel cleaning products are acidic (tho not sure if WonderWheels is one of them), and that repeated use can have a detrimental effect on the metal/laquer. Have a look at the contents on the bottle, if is says it contains acid, then I guess it's a case of using it sparingly or finding something else?

i aways find hot soapy water and a small mop (from wilkos , for cleaning dishes , about 20p) does the trick for me , although it won`t get rid of small scatches it does bring the wheels up great , and no harmful chemicals to damage the poor laquar finish .
