Hi,

I recently bought a chrome exhaust tip from eBay, someone from this forum recommended it. After a few months it just rusted bad style.

I just wanted to know if someone knows where I could get a good high quality exhaust tip for my IS200, dont want an exhaust system just something smart for styling. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys :)

P.S: sorry if i posted this in the wrong group, i assumed this was the right one.

I purchased a set of 2 from eBay. DON'T fit. Were originally for my LS430. Too small (adjustable also)

Best off going to the dealer mate.

:winky: I bought a genuine lexus tip over 3 years ago, I give it a clean now and again and it comes up like new. Go to the dealer or ask Chris S. think they are about 30 quid,

the lexus dealer here dont have it, they said its discontinued. That is why i got it from eBay. Okay i never cleaned mines, i tried wiping it once but it just looked like that rust would never get off.

Thanks for the input guys appreciate it! :) I shall ask Chris and see if he can get a hold of 1.

Just got myself a pair of second hand fog lights, about time.

Hi Guys,

Read this thread a while back as I’ve recently purchased an IS250 which had badly discoloured chrome tips on the exhaust.

Just goes to show the value of this forum as I’d never heard of Autosol until I came on here!

Thought I’d share pics of my results as that’s what this thread seemed to be lacking…

BEFORE:

Seriously caked in crud and quite badly discoloured. Went to work on it first with a Brillo Pad and then liberally applied the Autosol and buffed it to a shine. Never thought it’d end up looking like this though…

AFTER:

I think it’s fair to say the results speak for themselves! :D

Brilliant purchase and for a fiver from Halfords, well worth it. Only had to use a small amount as well, so should last a while.
