Every thing went well over the weekend...

Friday - Picked up my Lexus (Black SE)

Saturday - Tints all round

Sunday - Picked up my HKS Super Drager

Today - Got the HKS fitted

Lovely car, was driving most of the weekend (Sutton for tints, Cheshire for the HKS) and put £120 of fuel in

HKS looks the mutz nutz, would have liked it to have been a bit louder though.

Sound system is amaizing considering it's standard from the factory, but whilst is sounds superb inside, when you're standing outside the bass is making something vibrate/rattle (bass setting is 3).

All in all im pleased as punch with it... the Alan Partridge jokes have already started at work...

I would guess the rattling you can hear is either from the boot raising springs or the anti-cabin pressurising flaps.

The spring rattling problem (these are the two metal bars that are just behind the 6x9s in the boot) can be solved by wrapping some tape around where they touch each other. The flaps (these are down either side of the boot, near where the jack sits) are more tricky to sort out. You can either block them up (which pressurises the cabin when you close a door ) or wedge them open. Wedging them open would possibly let moisture in though, so I dont know what to suggest for the best really...

Have you got the HKS really warm yet? It sounds very nice when it is warm. The thing I like about the Dragger is that it is quiet on the motorway......

Im 19 at the mo, 20 on Thursday with 1 yrs no claims. CIS put the zorst down as a replacement so no extra cost. I'm going with directline when my policy with CIS runs out in May, with me being 20 with 2yrs no claims it'll be £1788.

Ive got 2 monthly payments left with CIS, was paying £124 a month on my Corsa and it's an extra £400 for the Lexus over the next 2 months.

i'm 22...got my car insured last year with www.elephant.co.uk for £920 and I had to lose my no claims bonus from the other company i was with. As an extra tip put your dad or mum on the quote as a second driver...can take off over £100 sometimes. Give there online quote system a go....
