Front Nearside Brake Sticking

Recommended Posts

When I purchased my IS 200 some months back I was advised that the piston in the front nearside brake caliper was not releasing. I took it to a garage, and a mechanic managed to free it. It has been perfect since that date, however when parked the car the other night, I noticed that the same wheel was not running freely again. Is this a problem with the IS 200.

I got charged £282.87 for one NSF brake caliper (including labour), bleed brakes and new front pads £179 (at £99 per Hr labour), oh and £1.30 for brake fluid. In all £463.17. This was done though lexus dealer, wish i took it down the road and got Toyota garage to do it (which I later found out thats where they take the car anyway!). This is where i get slagged off for paying that much and can be done by corsavandal (forum user) for a fraction of the price and sparkystav will under cut him by £5. lol
