Pulled By The Police In Croydon

Hi all

Only had the car for just over a week and was pulled for the first time yesterday for no reason at all, this must be a record!!

What is it about a young person driving a nice car that makes them decide to pull you over??

They practically accused me of stealing it, called for backup and everything before they quickly changed their tone when i told them i worked for a firm of solicitors and realised that my documents all checked out. What a waste of time, surely there is some crime they could of been attending to.

Anyway no harm done i suppose. End of moan

Just to look at the flip-side of things, at least you know they'd be on the ball if some thieving b*****d nicked your car and was driving round in it. If it's your turf, hopefully they'll get used to seeing the "young lad in the Lexus" and will leave you alone, unless they spot "someone else driving that young lad's Lexus"!

I think the only cop who's pulled me in my current car is one of my mates!

i've never been stopped yet, and I have a similar appearance to chavs on a few occasions (without baseball cap and electronic tag)

I know exactly what you mean - I've had a few glances from the Poddington Peas but haven't been pulled up over it.

I thought it was on their little carputers... put in a vehicle reg & owners details, M.O.T. & insurance all came up ?

Not always, as i found to my cost on Wednesday, sat by the side of the road for an hour trying to prove i was insured regardless of what his stupid computer told him.
