Bluetooth

I have no issues obvious to me with my phone setup, I use an N95 quite happily, however lately I've had people say that my voice is not coming through too clearly now and also it has tendencies to sound like I'm 'in a tunnel'.

I've seen some bits on this forum about amending some of the internal settings to send out the Bluetooth at a higher volume, but I wonder if anyone has come across this or similar at all

Yep - altered mine the other week and loads of people have commented on it being much better. It is a case of trial and error though.

I take it you have the MM Bluetooth system? If so, go into setup. (hold info, flash lights 4 times) go into menu at the top, then Bluetooth. Have a look through the options and one of them is volume transmit and receive gain.

(I'm doing this blindly so could be a bit incorrect - if you can't find it I'll do it on mine properly tomorrow)

I upped both by 2.

yep same on mine..ppl said it wasnt very clear so i had to speak above "normal" voice. adjusted "output mic volume" on the hidden menus..

Same here - but you do have to be careful. Raise the gain too much and people/you will hear echo.

There is probably a thread on here somewhere about this, but how do I access the hidden system menu, as the info button, flash 4 times is not a goer for me!!!

Leave car switched on (running or ACC2)

Switch headlihts off (if in Auto mode, turn the barrel and really switch 'em off)

Hold down the "Info" button to the left of the MM Screen

Whilst holding the Info button down, flick headlights from Off to Parking and Off 3 times...not 4!! Though 4 makes no difference - it should still work

Hey presto!

Just don't mess up the reversing camera - it takes some recalibrating!!
