I just have a question for you. I am looking for a IS200 black/Platinum Ice( I prefer Black), under 50k mileage with full leather seats. It has to be auto( the Wife can only drive auto and would'nt agree otherwise). I am looking to spend 7500-8000 for a 02 plate or maybe 8500-9000 for an 03 plate onwards. The question is do you think I can get one for that price or am I setting my standard too high?

You might not get the full leather, as most come with 1/2 leather.

The only ones with full leather are the LE (limited edition) or the IS300.

And as your after an auto an full leather have you considered an IS300?

The Full leather version is limited edition? that is a shame. I am only looking to get a 200 because the 300 would be to costly to run for me.

It isnt too different from the IS200 for running costs i believe. MPG is only slightly less and tax is the same. Depending on insurance it shouldnt be too different.

I am pretty certain it is only in the limited edition and if i'm correct they where all yellow but that one i'm not 100% with. There are some members who have swapped the interior into full leather but i'm not sure of cost.

I really like the half leather interior though and think it's better than all leather no sticking to the seats when it's hot

Hey guys,

Thanks for the welcoming.

I am still looking for the IS I want and guess I might have to up the search for the newer Lexus to find the one I want. Very faustrating at the moment because my old car insurance just ran out and did not want the trouble of renewing it then changing it over to the Lexus.

Anyways, the extra has let me read the forum and guides about what to look out for etc and what to look forward to e.g. Moding it up!!! can't wait!!!!. anyways, I keep everyone posted.
