Hi guys, Looking to buy a set of wheels (yay)!! I Found a set of Rays (Black Fleet V810) i like and just need to know if they will fit before i buy them.

The Wheels!

My car will soon be lowered 30mm so i'm guessing they will rub but i need to know if i will need to cut the inner arch away? Or what spacers and stuff may be needed??

Heres the fitment chart!

I'm thinking the highlighted one is best??

Any help would be great,

Thanks,

Tom.

Hello mate, i cant help with whether the wheels will fit but i'm sure someone will be along shortly to answer that but the wheels you've chosen are absolutely lovely!!! Cant wait to see them on the car.

Hi, Cheers Rikos,

Only thing is i'm having a bit of trouble finding out how to contact rays to purchase them. They only have contact Phone Numbers and unfortunatly i dont speak Japanese.

I do have a friend in Japan who im hoping will be able to send them over. Just have to pait for him to come online!

No way of ordering by email?

No they dont seem to have an e-mail address on the site. :(

Was just looking through some of the old posts on wheels (as you do) and came across a member **Tango** who imported some Volks.

I may give him a PM to see if he can rember how he managed to get hold of them :)

I imported my Volks Racing SF Winning Rims from Ray's Wheels in Japan through 'Funky Styling' but notice they've been taken over by http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/ but they still advertise as Japanese specialists so try them. http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/rayswheels.php

Tom...edited my previous post with a link to their Rays Wheels section, as the main site is a bit busy.

Stud spacing is correct. Width is 1 inch more than standard so offset needs to be correctly calculated.

Im not sure what sort of space/clearance there is under the arches and from suspension components, but choosing the 45mm offset will brinng the outer face of the rim 12.5mm towards the arch and the inner face 12.5mm towards the suspension/inner arch.

Tyre width would also need to be conidered, but there are lots of rolling diameter calculaters on the net to aid you in choosing the right ones to keep your speedo and gearing close to standard.

Cheers, Ive looked at the other post and is seems that i will be able to get the wheels with the highlighted offset. I know my speedometer will be a little bit out but im not really that fussed as it wont be a great deal.

Just gotta ring my insurance company to declare i want them and see if they will insure them (my dad is making me) and then hope i can get someone to import them!
