Joey Barton Banged Up

Dont know if anyones seen it on the news, but ex Man City now Newcastle midfielder has been locked up for 6 months for common assault.

Its a joke though, firstly he was on CCTV battering the guy time and time again over the head. So surely it should be GBH or ABH at the very least.

Secondly i bet he's out for August. When the football season starts again.

The guys a T****r anyway so hope he drops the soap.

We sing He's getting bu :tsktsk: d in the showers at Barton about his (half)brother who's also in nick for his part in the horrible murder of Anthony Walker(RIP), looks like we'll be singing it a Joey Barton too, couldn't of happen to a nicer fella, should just leave him there to rot.

Stav your spot on mate should be ABH and if it was anyone else they'd be looking at 5 years.

Spot on mate 1 rule for MP's another for the famous then ordinary people get banged to rights if they commit the same offence, not against punishing people for doing bad stuff but it shouldn't matter if your famous or not same treatment for all IMHO just look at Amy Alehouse or Pete Doherty(scummy baghead) if your average bloke or lass on the street got caught that many times with class A or less it would be at least 6 months but these just get away with it because of who they are, time for a revolution me thinks we could cut the price of fuel, road tax and insurance while were at it.
