a lot of people here have put them above the passenger side seat belt - so you only see it as you tunr around to back up?

I guess if it only comes on when you put the car in reverse it wouldn't be distracting.

I've put mine on the left side of the display console, I use my mirrors for reversing, not far to switch from mirror to the display, and then listen for the 2" marker I've set for the limit.

We encourage users to mount the display on the B-pillar above the passengers's seat belt mounting where it looks a bit out of place on the dash. I think your siting over the rear-view mirror looks good.

Interestingly, QUANAN have brought out a version with the digits embedded in the rear-view mirror and which fits over the original. Good idea in principle but having tried it, the glass is convex and therefore the image out the back window is diminished - great view of the rear seat, headlining and C-pillars though.

The QUANAN 2030S with 3 drill-through sensors and digital display is certainly the best quality product on the market of its type and fabulous value at the Club price of £ 110 delivered. The sensors take paint very well and we did a Vectra yesterday where everything looks like original equipment.

For those that are interested, we also have a 6 sensor version available which has 4 sensors for the back and 2 for the front. This is particularly suitable for motor-homes and cars with tow-balls. Usual price of £ 189.50 plus carriage is reduced to £ 160 for Club members. Also we have an installer based in Essex who is first-rate.
